Our summer camps in Bethesda, Falls Church, and Potomac are designed to spark creativity for every participant. With small student-teacher ratios and age-specific groupings, we provide personalized attention and age-appropriate instruction that supports each camper’s artistic growth. All three locations offer full-day programming from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Campers explore a wide range of media including clay, watercolor, acrylics, pastels, and more through fresh, engaging projects introduced weekly. Students attending multiple sessions will not repeat a project.
How to Register
Step 1: Create Student Portal
Create a Student Portal here (We use one registration form for both classes and camps. If you are registering for camp, please disregard the class selection field. If you have already created a Student Portal, please log in here).
Complete the online registration form and enter your credit card information.
Step 2: Select Camp
On your Student Portal dashboard, click Browse for Activities. Choose Camps from drop-down menu. Select your preferred location to register for camp weeks.
Cost
Tuition for Youth Camp (ages 6 – 12) is $515 per week.
Tuition for Teen Camp (ages 12 – 17) is $535 per week.
Teen Camp
Artworks’ Teen Summer Camp offers a dynamic and inspiring journey for young artists ages 12–17. Designed to cultivate artistic talent and curiosity, this program supports teens in creating meaningful, portfolio-worthy work while connecting with like-minded peers.
Campers engage in a rich blend of live instruction, independent studio time, and access to diverse materials. Throughout the experience, students receive ongoing mentorship, personalized feedback, and guidance from Artworks staff. Collaborative projects and peer critiques foster a vibrant, supportive community that encourages growth and creative confidence.
This program is ideal for teens seeking to expand their college application portfolios or deepen their artistic practice in a focused, nurturing environment.
Please note: The Teen Camp is offered exclusively at our Bethesda location.

- 8:50 – 9:05: Drop off
- 9:10 am-10:25 am: Project I
- 10:25-10:55 am: Break
- 10:55-12:15 pm: Project II
- 12:15 pm-1:15 pm: Lunch, Games, and Outdoor Activities
- 1:15 pm-2:30 pm: Project III
- 2:30 pm-2:45 pm: Clean up
- 2:45 pm – 3 pm: Pick-up
- 3 – 5 pm: After Care (optional)

After Care
After Care is available in the Bethesda location Monday through Friday from 3–5pm. After Care is offered at $100/week per camper. Please note that After Care is optional and billed by the full camp week (cannot be prorated by day).
